This was my Halloween costume. Now before you say, "Aw, that's so kewl!" I'm going to complain a whole bunch about it. >:0

I couldn't find white gloves in time for Halloween, but whatever.
Oh. em. gee. Do not use felt for your costumes. It's stiff, and scratchy, and hot. And the one I picked was too pale for PM anyway.
I worked my friggin' butt off on this thing. It was so hard. I would come home every day after school to work on it, during the mornings too. No pattern. I just did a buttload of measurements and estimations. It was pretty boring. I'm a beginning sewer.
I didn't have a mail hat (why would I have one on hand?) so I borrowed the hat from my mom's pilot costume. Hello, little girl. And what are you for Halloween? Oh, let me guess! A mummy? Whooooo. . . died as a pilot? :)
I underestimated the clearness of my vision through the buckram. Walking around with your face covered at night is not a fun thing to do. Also, my breath bounced back uncomfortably at my face. I had my mom cut off the face at the last minute with her nail clippers. What a life saver.
Towards the end my sewing machine stopped working, so I hot-glued some last pieces to cover up my skin.
Did I mention this was really frickin hard to make? Especially the headpiece. >_o I don't ever want to do this again. Ever.

So, uh. . . If this somehow inspires you to make your own PM costume/cosplay or something, remember not to use felt, to avoid making the headpiece skintight (give your mouth room to move) and most importantly, don't cover up your entire face! X_x

I think this costume may have to go in the garbage. . .
