Sure... I just think that his true self is the one he shows around the people he loves, whether it be Lois, Jonathan and Martha, Kara, or whoever. I feel personally that his 'Justice League' persona is less real than his 'Reporter' one. But I guess that's my interpretation.

Chemistry ? Are you kidding?
Lois Lane then carried a deep and bitter hypocritical paranoia that Clark might go out with whichever ex girlfriend or Super Powered female out there. She got angry that Superman didn't let Imperiex kill Wonder Woman when he actually had to stop all of those machines from drilling to the Earth's core, including the one headed to Paradise island or else everyone would die. She didn't feel too sympathetic even though Kansas got blown away and that could have meant that the Kents were dead.
She had a deep hatred for super powered beings and wanted Ray Palmer to be found guilty at whatever cost for the murder of Sue Dibny, even though evidence proved otherwise.
Went out of her way to smear Lana Lang over her past divorce. Again, this is both rude and conceited, especially since She was the hypocrite who went and got intimate with her boyfriend almost immediately after Superman's death.
She chewed out Clark for having Lori the mermaid, an ex girlfriend whom he described as a chaste relationship, to stay at her apartment because Clark didn't want to feel tempted to cheat on his fiancΓ©e, and like I said before, Lois hypocritically suspected Clark of having an affair, when she was the one who hardly mourned his death.
She was even jealous of Krypto.
Also how many times was Clark completely loyal to her, but she questioned his loyalty tons of times.
When Kal and Diana spent a thousand years fighting on Valhala.
When a future Magog poisoned Superman with a form of liquified kryptonite, and Superman had to be sent to the hospital, it was Lana that had to take care of him. And nurse him back to health, because Lois was too busy with her career. Even Lana pointed out that when Clark was no longer so Super, Lois conveniently disappered. And when he was playing with Lana son she also pointed out that Clark would've made a great father, if only not for Lois selfishness. To which Clark tried to defend Lois by saying that having a child could put Lois life in danger, to which Lana challenged by saying "Are you really gonna tell me that with all of your genious friends, none could come up with a way to supress the child kryptonian abilities until it was born". And when Lois herself got hurt, and she went to Smallville she resented the fact that it was Lana that was taking care of him.
To me the very worst thing about Clark and Lois "relationship" was very one sided.
It was all about Lois. What Lois wanted.the whole relationship is abusive, dull, and empty where Lois overall has Superman as a trophy husband.
I'm sorry if i don't see 'chemistry'
