Description Mainline

I named this one after the newest trance/techno track of 4 Strings. Called Mainline.
It sounds great and i think this image really matches the trance feeling.

Tools used:
render: Apophysis 2.05b
text&border: Adobe Photoshop CS2

Enjoy.

Great one. Is that background bit part of the fractal?

I actually like this one more than Re-Line. Its a nice fractal, and you thought well when you decided to mirror it.

XiceGfx In reply to Ryan2006 [2007-06-01 07:13:48 +0000 UTC]

thanks, i didn't mirror it myself.. it was part of the fractal's symmetry

-far removed from the Apo I tried a few years back...
excellent modern abstract design...the surrounding darkness and grey mist really bring out the blue
A few tunes from Govinda also work well while creating ...and for image titles

I like this one a little better then the "Silmarillia"... But both are still very well done.

Nice job altogether.

SchmauserPhoto [2006-11-24 00:24:06 +0000 UTC]

This is awesome! The minimal colors are great, and I love the reflections and curves and overall shiny-ness. The subtle details (mainly those white dotted lines on the bottom, left, and right side of the piece) are excellent, and really add to the design. The only thing I can say critique-wise is that despite the great lighting, it's hard for me to discern depth. But that's a minor thing, and I only "noticed" after about a minute of looking at it.
Overall, very nice! I like this one much better than the red, too

I like the blck background and the grey-blue-ish gradients on other elements. However, if you wanted to have more "trance" feeling ,I think you should have used at least one, more vivid colour.
