I love it when Jake finds his bio-hookup stuff in his braid. We shared the same thoughts at that moment. 'the hell is that? Freaky...
I wanted to color this and my (lack of) colored pencil skills made me go for my markers. I had a lot of fun doing this picture.
I didn't use any references so please forgive random errors if you find them.And I pose a question to all who read this and have seen the movie. When I was watching it (for my second time) with my friend, she leaned over in the theater and asked me who braided the Avatars' hair while they were in their water tubes. Any ideas?
I believe a lot of weird stuff, but thinking hair can grow in already braided is gullibility!

My friend ~Tigerdragon511 and I were about the same as you. Than we decided to call the things inside the braid sea enemies What they kind of look like them! At least we think so. lol

We did see one baby just as they were walking away from their dead home tree, the mother was cradling it. *RIP OMATIKAYA HOMETREE* T_T. If I remember correctly, the baby had a little braid too.
I dont know if the hair grows braided, that is a good question. Also we see Mo'at, Neytiri's mother, with the braid in the front, unless that was another braid in the front, it makes you wonder, you know? Im going to see it again thursday I should bring a notebook full of things to look out for..I might actually do it. lol.
OMG I want aquatic Na'vi!! I created a character that looked just like the Na'vi but aquatic. Sometime back in highschool mind you, not after I saw the movie. Although I think I might die if I ever saw them.

I'm sure with the Na'vi children their parents braid their hair and whatnot, but the Avatars in their big tubes...what about them? I am amused by an earlier post's suggestion of a machine that braids the hair. Money has been spent on stranger things, I'm sure.
Maybe aquatic Na'vi could be a sequel.
