Description
The unknown galaxy glowing from the far end of the universe.found an old file sitting on my drive for quite a while. it is as they say, "fix it up a little and it can be a piece of crap!"

The stars, the clouds of space dust, the lightening colors towards the center... it all makes me want to go and get a telescope. This is one beautiful fixed-up piece of crap.

it's shaped after the cone nebula, if you look at it, i was thinking about what to put at that corner, then it suddenly hits me.

Though I agree that the peice would benifit from a small burst of the sharpen tool the fuzzy ness does give it a certain dreamlike quality and a touch of class, it almost looks like a painting of a galaxy rather than an actuall one, which is very cool. Very nice style with the flairs on the stars and the placement of the smaller ones.
Did you consider adding a lense flair?

There is a problem with the full-view. I enjoyed viewing it far too much. I love night sky and this will make a fine addition to my short favorites list.

ah but with a smaller file size, you wouldnt be able to notice all the intericate tiny details as well

sorry - what I meant was: smaller filesize - not smaller dimensions... they could stay as they are, but a 1,3 Mb is a bit to much IMHO

not quite - even 'Jpeg high' preset would produce file with almost identical quality at about 1/3 original size
