Description I awoke to the rustling leaves of the trees high above my bedroom. I glanced at the small notebook open in my hand to reveal Dimen's words. It hadn't been a dream! I really did communicate with the unknown last night! I smiled, and went to get breakfast.
***
At school, I went straight to my homeroom, which was my legends class. I went straight to the teacher, pulled out my notebook to the correct page, and asked my teacher if she recognized the words. "Aquaria… this is written in Michite. How did you come across such a language?" my teacher asked. "Ms. Iklik, I touched a star the other night, and this guy named Dimen started talking to me. He said these words." I explained quietly, knowing this was important. "Dimen… his name rings a bell… Ah, I remember now. Dimen is a legend, and it may do you good to tell you his story. I was planning to tell it to the class today, so can you wait?" Ms. Iklik asked.
"I can wait."
"Good."
The bell rang to get to class.

"Class, we will be studying a new legend today. You may, but do not have to, take notes. Are there any questions? … Good. Let's begin."
"A very long time ago… a small boy named Dimen was born. It was Dimen who would change the world, so listen carefully. Dimen, from the start, was teased and jeered because of his unnatural iridescent eyes. He hated it. But he remained calm and pretended to be unaware of the teasing. It was hard, ignoring his peers, but he had to do it. His closest friend, Leah, always stuck by his side, and knew how to help Dimen. Fate fell upon Leah, and the peers got mad at her helping Dimen while they tried to terminate him. They captured Leah and killed her. Dimen, upon finding out, was overwhelmed with sorrow. Dimen, for the first time, felt hate. Hate for those who murdered the only one he could rely on. Dimen vowed that he would get vengeance. He wanted it. He deserved to fight back. He would not be cornered like this. He was sitting alone on the ground under a tree when he decided this. Dimen focused hard, and closed his eyes. He left himself leap. Dimen opened his eyes, to find he was only a spirit. Dimen thought; then understood. He was a shaman. Dimen smiled, and leapt back into his body. He opened his eyes once again, comfortable in his body. Dimen remembered Leah, and again felt the hate for her murderers. He stood up, and determined to catch the guilty, walked straight to a house he knew a murderer of Leah was."  Ms. Iklik told the tale. "Is that it?" a student asked. "That's as far as the legend goes. Nobody knows what happened after that." The bell rang for next period.
