Please view full.Tachigami (god of powerful slashes), represented by the Rat ... though this one looks very ferret-like for some reason.
One of my more recent projects is to make a calendar of the Chinese zodiac animals from the game Okami. This was inspired by my first realistic pic of Amaterasu.
I also decided to do a calendar because, conveniently, the Chinese zodiac has 12 animals, and its an adequate excuse to draw them all.
It will be the month of October

All the gods and godness that you remake are all excellent design. They still look similar to the in game version and still look fabulously realistic.

this little rat never made sense to me hes a rat with a sword twice atleast bigger then him pulls it out of a tiny holder and slashes it like it a sunflower seed shell(ratty reference)he might as well me runny aroung like a squirelll on redbulll oh wait he does... pie

I love this picture, mainly because I love rats and LOVE how tough the little one looks!
I know very little about this game other than it exists. Did you create these characters and names, or were they in the game? Either way, I've enjoyed looking at the series!

All the names and the characters came from the game. It really is a cool game. I'm really more of a spectator than a game player, but I'm sure this game is as fun to play as it is to watch.
