Description
During the battle of Archipelago, fought between Thrasher Tech and Crystosis Corp, an elite group of mercenaries called The Black Ring fought on the side of Thrasher Tech. Due to Thrasher Tech’s lackluster military during the first round of fighting the Black Ring played a key role in the defense of Archipelago. After Thrasher Tech revamped its military and Crystosis Corp regrouped with a new battle strategy, the Black Ring fought again on the side of Thrasher Tech. They participated in the battle by attacking key targets and supply ships that no other Thrasher Tech units would dare assault. They fought valiantly and were among the most elite units deployed during the battle. However, they tragically met their demise in that battle, with only a single member of the Black Ring surviving. It is said that The Black Ring destroyed more mechs in that battle than any other squadron on either side, and their memory will not soon be forgotten by either side of the conflict.
