Song used: Somebody That I Used To Know - Gotye
Background: me
Scene description: just after Cobra sold Qibli when Qibli and Thorn are leaving

On the 10 musics, 5 actually inspired me, so that was hard to choose ^^
I had to ask a friend to choose x)

So there is the lyrics to explain why it made me think of this scene:

Now and then I think of when we were together
like when you said you felt so happy you could die
Told myself that you were right for me
But felt so lonely in your company
But that was love and it's an ache I still remember
Sometime quibli thought of his mother, he thought she loved him, but she never really loved quibli.

But I'll admit that I was glad it was over
He became very loyal to Thorn and loved her like she was his real mother; he finaly found someone that noticed him doing right things.

But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger and that feels so rough
[...]
Now you're just somebody that I used to know
She abandonned him without a sight (well, she did, but only to say he was a useless lizard that will be killed if he does something x) )

Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over
But had me believing it was always something that I'd done
But I don't wanna live that way
Reading into every word you say
Quibli thought that every time she didn't showed love, it was his fault, or something he havn't done. he always tried to "read into every word she sayed"; for example when qibli thinked she’d been looking at Sirocco when she said “ugly snouts” and at him when she said “come back” in the book 10

I hope i didn't make some horrible grammatical mistakes ^^'
