I've been trying to finish this sketch forever and i have yet to finish it, so for the time being, i shall upload this WIP-

Is the WereBat transformation cycle!!

During a New Moon, they are at their smallest, with no wings, and fur only covers calves, forearms, and neck, with a little fluffy ball of fluff for a tail.

This period is also where they are usually in heat, or ready to mate/ extra frisky. When in heat, their pubic area is bald, they have no tuft of fluff 'down there'. Heat, if you choose for your character to have a heat, only last a few days like a (normal) human period. Otherwise, they can just have a fluffy tuft 'down there' all the time, with a regular sex drive like that of human females.

Toward a Half Moon, they have small wings, and their leg fur extends up past their thighs, to their hips. They still have a fluff ball tail, or can be drawn with a wolf-like tail, up to you c:

Here, they may also have heat if you choose for them to have a heat period.

During the Gibbous Moon, they will have much larger wings, and are able to lift and glide their bodies with these wings at this point. They will have a full wolf tail (if you so choose) and will be fluffy all over, except for maybe the breasts (if you so choose.) Here, they may have additional appearance changes such as black sclera, slit pupils, and larger claws.

Full Moon- This, is their Super Saiyan form. During the full moon, they will be at their tallest and largest. Their wings will be body length, and flight will be easily attainable for short distances. Their claws will be long and giant, and they will have obvious digitigrade legs. Their tail will be long and full, and their eyes will be larger, with the slit pupils. Neck will be a little taller as a Werewolf's neck length would be, and their breasts and other body proportions will have grown with their larger body build.

Here, if you so choose, they will be very muscular, with a double pair of pecs to compensate for their back wings.

Now, there is also a version where their arms will become the wings, like a Wyvren. Here, you will not need the double pecs of course, and their wings will be very long, and strong enough to cary them for extended flight rather than gliding and short flights.

hm..ill draw a ref for the Wyvren version as well x)

And thats the cycle!

Now, moon has a waxing, and waning cycle; as in, after the full moon they do not just poof back to new moon mode, as a full moon does not become a new moon after the full moon. The slowly wanes back to the new moon, then the new moon waxes into a full moon, then wanes again, and so on so forth.

Werebat forms:
new moon-->half-->gibbous-->full moon-->gibbous-->half-->new moon

i will include another ref for this as well, as it may be confusing in word form lol.

But for now, here is a sketch of basically their fur and wing growth during the moon cycle- you can draw your Werebat in any form at any time of course, but it can be a fun little twist to have a character drawn that correlates with the moon cycles, whatever you wish! ^w^!!
