This is what I got from 's $10 commission offers and it's a real testament that he can to what he thinks back then, he can't. (see special colored lined versio here [link] )

From the description I gave him one of the common traits (emphasis on "common") of having Delgan genetics that under conditions of extreme stress, tension or force his body responds by becoming more bigger, stronger and tougher to a conditioned limit to prevent limitation of moment. After such stresses have passed the body's muscles and structure return back to their normal but still huge state.

Hence creating a new excuse for why he wears a select line of clothing with the "memex" material. Image getting this huge with normal clothes, spandex-like material or the like and see how it can stand up to rapidly expanding bulk.

From the looks of his behemoth incarnate, I estimate from this picture that before becoming this huge, Xendrian was at least 1/3rd the size you see him now.

The most plausible story behind this is that it involves him on a exploratory/mineral wealth missions normally he hates those kinds because it pulls him out of the action of a normal mission and reduces him to nothing more than a babysitter. However it was a dry month for new assignments and the chief commissioner nearly had it with him laying around the Washington office all day he takes it without question.

This leaves him with the thought if he has to deal with a bunch of snobby, over-inquisitive geeks. But he would be hypocritical of himself because being a brilliant being himself he would love to learn difference is, being a seasoned agent and warrior a scientist like him as more common sense. Upon the leave, Xendrian meets his co-worker a well mannered human female geologist going by the name of Dr. Claire. When asked of where the rest of the other team would show up, She replied:

"I am the team, normally this is just oversight and sampling besides, for something like this I don't want to day wasted on looking over a bunch of snobby, over-inquisitive geeks."

As she walked to the gate platform Xen smiled. "Ten seconds and I'm already starting to like her".

Arriving a mile from the site they took a long walk before entering a cave where the mission was about to take place. She tells Xen that it won't take long but he insists to go with him Claire agreed and and in a quick moment starts to fall in the passageway. In shock Xen wasted no time in sliding down after her. The long slide down had polarizing effects on the two explorers, Claire having the joy of a child going down her first slide ride as for Xen its leaves him in a trail of terrified screams, blind navigation with hands over eyes and hopes he doesn't crash or get stabbed by the mounting surge of crystals as they get further and further to their destination.

Claire meeting the end slowly comes to a stop and gets off safely, Xen on the other hand with his massive bulk showed no signs of stopping. Claire saw that and got out of his way. He flew right off the edge like a car off a cliff trying to gain his ground meeting and end slamming against the rock face back first, upside-down. His look over came in to ask of hes alright after falling head first to the ground. He shook his head in dizziness and interjected.

"I'm alright but are you fucking crazy?!"

"Not as much as you screaming like a girl with his hands over his eyes"

"...I can't help it I was scared back there"

"A multi-ton bahamutian dragon like yourself scared of a little slide?" She laughs a little that kinda both annoys and embarrasses him.

"Can we just finish this please?!"

"Alright big guy, you know you're definitely not like the big guys I dealt with back in Washington. Come on"

Thinking to himself as she walks ahead of him he grabbed his right arm rubbing his left forearm as he looked down as if he was ashamed of himself. It was just another in the never ending battle between his physique and his personality up against a world that sees him as a mindless, battle-ready brute without giving second thought or at least, a chance.

"I wasn't scared it was just a long, long ride, she didn't have to rub it in my face. I'm more than just a..." Shouting

"Hey wait! how did you know that much? We just met!"

Both the two explorers enter into a deep room that his instinct tells him that this room was vast but how much was soon about to be answered by Claire. She placed a small sonic charge against the translucent wall and set it to vibrate. What happened next caught the two in a moment of awe. This vast cavern was littered with towering bluish-white crystals of an unknown element illuminating the place like daylight. The massive crystalline structures where what caught the blue bahamutian's eyes as they were the size skyscrapers. Truly a miracle of nature and time.

Setting up a small outpost Claire was left to work while Xendrian was just simply left with the task of looking around the great space to gaze at the beauty and mystery of the cave. it was a wonder to him why Dr. Claire wanted to come. But felt suspect that after the slide fiasco he couldn't help to think she was here before. If that was true why does she ever need him in the first place.

He was left to ponder those questions Claire was looking deeper into the properties of this new untapped element. She discovered that it emits a heavy low-frequency sound that causes it to illuminate but more surprising it releases 20 times more energy than it does put in. It was clearly anything energy-starved nations can count on. But beyond the space lies the sound of crackling foot steps as the mysterious entity quietly stalks around it's prey.

Xendrian looks down from a high vantage point to see the massive field of crystals that fill a space as large as Lake Michigan looking back down he can see Claire working but quickly can also see something moving right in front of her and doesn't even know it. Quickly he comes down with precision equal to a gymnast he tells her to get away but she couldn't listen until the faint sounds of his voice came up. Claire looked up to see the sight of an enormous creature, growing with fury right in front of her. She stood there nearly paralyzed with fear until the deafening roar of the creature snapped her out of it and left her to scream. The creature lept over the wall and down right in front of her. Xendrian came down in time to get the creatures attention the beast didn't waste no time charging after the new threat. He didn't understand why they would but he didn't have time to ponder when he and his temporary partner were in serious trouble.

He quickly tells her to run for her life as he grabbed the great crystal-colored beast by the jaw and gained his footing on the ground to by Claire some time. Natural reactions within his body awaken as his great bulk begins to swell to meet with the forceful and even hungry demand of his greater opponent. The other agent finds a small opening at the end of the cave with light leading the way out, but that was cut as he looked up and sees the horrifying sight of another monster heading right towards its smaller prey.

BOOM! goes the monster as it makes ground fall and roars at her with deafening intensity great enough for Xen to hear still struggling at the jaws of this beast. His muscles are already starting to get big enough for him to clamp his hands on the jaws and lifts the multi-ton beast like a rag doll, leaps and falls on its belly before running on all fours to help the trapped female. Fearing the fact she about to meet the end of her killer the sounds of claw to rock got louder and louder.

"Get away from her you blued-up bastard!"

Was his attack line before leaping off the edge, clamping his fists together and falling with a feral roar right towards his head with a hammer slam. Tumbling wildly before regaining his footing Xendrian runs back to help Claire. She feels alright but screams her warning of look out. The last image he saw before feeling the force of a diesel train on rocket engines was a thick tail to the chest. Flinging the still pumped dragon right into the walls of the crystals. The shock causes them to glow and hum that seemed to agitate the monsters.

That is where she had an idea and tells Xendrian to keep hitting the crystals. He didn't see why but the effects it had on them didn't give him reason to question her orders. With his strength he broke off a massive chunk and slams it against he larger piece causing them to both glow and hum. The other arrived only the be succumbed to the effects of the constant slamming of the crystals until finally both of them finally collapsed from not standing up to it.

Relieved, Xendrian puts down the massive crystal and falls to his knees exhausted just from the fight. When Dr. Claire came up to him, she couldn't believe her eyes that he has gotten that huge, because she see him just half that size. But his only concern was that if she was alright. Snapping out of her previous curiosity to look at the two assailants looking totally unconscious after having one two many beers she also was to see that the only open ways out were blocked and buried under tons of rock.

This posed a serious problem for both of them because both of the ways out are blocked and it would be a matter of time before they have go round two with those monsters. Xendrian tells her to grab the end of her tail and to not let go. Claire asks why for; his answer: He'll dig their way out. He tensed his body has hard as he can, the muscles he's packed on since the first bound begin to swell even more and with great focus concentrated all his strength to slam his sharp talons into the super-dense rock. Tearing through the material like it as plain dirt he started to get some traction.

An hour progressed, both Xen and Claire were waiting for signs of sunlight because time and and space was slowly begin to come more and more limited because of his muscles meeting the demand. But with all that, he showed no signs of slowing down because of his personal feelings of protecting those weaker than him. After 90 minutes of constant non-stop digging the ground below starts to rumble, a heavy fishure begins to break and the ground explodes.

The alien earth unleashed the monstrous blue mass with half his body sticking out of the ground. In the tense moment he feels he need to let all that tension, all that raw energy an he did it with a monstrous roar that could be heard for miles! After they both got out, Dr. Claire let go of his tail and is shocked at the sight of a now mountain of clothed muscle that is his partner. Every bit of sinew was unreal as the next as the great blue titan breathes heavily.

She goes around him to ask him though she can't help feel a bit frightened at the seer mass he's acquired from the dig. Looking up to him, he looks back down and was curious enough to ask what's wrong. Claire can't help it anymore and tells him that she was shocked that he gotten so huge now she is talking to a living building made of heavily veined meat. The behemoth in blue layed back with a hard thud that shook the ground a bit and gently answered her.

"I was just born this way." He said firmly but with a bit of nervousness he continued.

"But don't worry, by tomorrow, I'll be back to my normal but still huge... self..." His enthusiasm in explaining it to her soon turn into worry from Claire's expression and feelings about this whole ordeal. Only leaving him to ask this:

"You're afraid of me aren't you?"

Shocked at that question, she quickly said no and comically replies about her worrying more about him exploding but she feels he wasn't buying it at all so she told the truth. She was at first but not but seeing him like this wasn't his source of fear. It was of dying back there. At first she tought that Xendrian was just another big guy who often would be too domineering or just "hard" but confessed that she really hoped to have him to go on mission because for a strange reason, She sees more under the great bulk and raw stored power. She saw, for the first time, a real person.

Claire was soon interrupted by the sound of sniffs coming from Xen and asks was he was crying? He couldn't hold it because for a seasoned warrior hearing something like that has more weight than gold in his books in the years of living this existence.

"Thanks... Claire"

"Please Xendrian, call me Mary-ann"

It was late and the twin suns on this unknown world began to set. Mary-ann gathered enough dry material for a fire and Xendrian using his fire-breath started a nice blaze to gather around. Hours passed as Xen was asleep on his back.

Claire saw the proof before her eyes his body began to shrink down slowly before her eyes. The tension of his clothes didn't do much to waken him. The next day Claire was waken up by the sight of the massive dragon carrying on his back a sample the size of a bus on his back. He tells her that it can be useful back home. As they walked back to the transport point The two shared a special bond on that day. Xen met a woman who didn't throw too much blows and Dr. Mary-ann Claire met a man who as far more than just strength (and girly screams ), but a brave one with a heart bigger than his body.
