Description I felt my coloring skills beginning to get rusty - not that they were ever that polished - so I wanted to do a simple exercise with skin tones and hair using a sketch that I had quite liked.

The proportions of her face look wonky now that I'm studying the preview, and her neck is too long (I will also learn to like backgrounds one day), but there's still a sort of mood in this picture that I'm pleased with.

The subject isn't anybody in particular, although you're welcome to assign a name and personality to her. As always, any comments/critiques/rantings/ravings/totally unrelated babblings are welcome. Thanks for viewing!

Oh the freckles and shading on the neck are grat, some with all the detail to the braid...hair takes forever. It turned out really well and I really like the addiction of the sunflower and her down cast but pleasant expression

I think your feeling of wonkyness with the face comes from the fact that she isn't really a conventional beauty. She seems a little androgynous which is awesome. Btw I love her hair too.
