Description Inspired by Let Me Be Myself - 3 Doors Down, and Shine On - The Kooks

I've been experimenting with watercolours recently, and I have overcome my fear!! they're not as hard as i thought, i was just making it hard for myself. this was so simple to do, I'm still amazed that I could colour and shade in one stroke (I'm still used to pencil shading )

I honestly don't mean for everything I draw to look like me, she was originally going to have a chestnut brown hair, but the orange I put on for a base came out this perfect blonde that I just couldn't add to it because it would ruin it

She looks so pretty, I love the colour of her hair, lips and the blue that surrounds her

i think the thing about watercolours is just to relax and dont worry about shading. and make sure your using enough water, make sure its thin enough im sure you'll get to grips with it

Honestly? the drawing took longer than the painting. i think the painting only took me an hour, two hours tops. it was so simple, but somehow i found a way to make it work
i guess its a case of knowing how you want to shade it beforehand

i havent slept lately either :/ it sucks...im down more than 11 hours i think. for this school week only. not to mention last Saturday i was up till 3 for no reason at all xD

its just that time of the year (i did this last year through my exams as well )
iv got exams at college, and work to hand in, and im doing art as well.
it doesnt help that i have cravings for watching new films, they take another couple of hours away from my time
