Made in response to all the dog-centered commercials, movies, etc that are out there. Often times, dogs will be portrayed, but not so often cats. Also, there are so many dog kennels in the country, but I have yet to see a cat kennel.Sadder still is that dogs get more attention at shelters, where cats aren't always given the same amount of love.
Here's to cats getting the love and attention they deserve!

I never understood why some people liked dogs and hate cats. Cats are just as adorable. I like certain types of dogs as much as I like cats.

I felt this very way since I can remember, always loving cats.
With how much attention the dogs got, I started to hate dogs at one point. I love dogs now, and I'm hoping to learn more about them.
But cats will always have a special place in my heart

Cats do get tons of love. Where I am at, People treat cats like royalty and stomp on dogs. I feel bad for them both.

What's sad is that one of my friends believes that cats don't love their owner like dogs do. That's bullshit, my old cat BJ clung to me and always wanted his belly rubbed. Each cat has a different personality.

I have a cat and a dog, and I love them to pieces. The only thing I don't like about having a dog is getting up real early to walk him, but usually I just crawl back into bed anyway XD
I do agree that there seem to be alot of dog centered things out there. Instead of saying dogs rule. Why not "Pets rule"? A pet is wonderful no matter what it is. :3

They're not as noisy as dogs, and you don't need to walk them.

What's convinced me is how much they drool. My cousin's dog seems to breathe in air and breathe out drool.

I know, right? I had a friend who had two large dogs, one of them a Saint Bernard, the other some type of mutt, and they would drool EVERYWHERE. And sometimes when they drooled, they left behind white globs which stuck to the furniture. D=
Not to mention dogs give off a very offensive smell sometimes. Same friend with the Saint Bernard made me a beautiful scarf, but I can't wear it because of the dog smell in it. Bleh.

Where I live our kennels support both cats an dogs. I have yet to see one that hasn't. Though, I can agree cats need love too. <3 I just can't have a cat personally because cats aren't as hypo allergenic as some dogs are. I'm not saying there aren't any cats out there that can't be hypo allergenic. Its just they seem to be a lot harder to find then dogs. Its not me that is allergic. Its my mother. T.T
