Description Mack and Malachi together at the 'Pantheon' theater, building a block castle.
I enjoyed drawing this one because this wouldn't be as simple for Mack as for others, since because he's what he is, I gave him some trouble with fine manipulation from his piecemeal hands, which makes for an interesting visual role reversal, which is fun to do with these two, as Malachai guides Mack's massive hands.

There's no particular symbolism to the poster, Mack probably picked it up somewhere, since the Pantheon normally only shows classic black and white films.

I'm guessing that this is based on Deucalion's relationship with Arnie in Koontz's "Frankenstein". Also I couldn't help but notice the Karloff monster on his shirt. Love it!

Could not resist the Karloff monster. ^_^; Yeah. my own OC is only loosely based on the Koontz colab books, but I did love them deeply.
Also it's one of the MIRACULOUSLY FEW times in literature where my favorite character DID NOT DIE in some kind of horrific fashion.
Nice Icon btw.
Hellboy/BPRD fan?

lol d'awwww they look so darling!!!!!!! I actually like the touch of the poster....the message it kinda adds to it..."why so serious" indeed! ...why not just sit and be a kid for a time....Malachi teaching Mack what it's like to be a kid and just build things...taking such pleasure in being able to share such a thing with him and be able to help teaching him how to build and use his hands for something like that....Malachi would be ecstatic hehehehehe.....he really is one that really just enjoys so many of the simple things in life ^^ I like the lil frankenstein on Mal's shirt too hehehe and how "soft" Mack looks ....and thoughtful they really do make for such wonderful interplay don't they?! *huggles* so pretty!!!!!

<3 I think out of all the characters I draw Mack and Mal have some of the most powerful visual interaction. <3 Sorta like the Strength card out of the Tarot. ^_^ <3

yeah they really have some strong emotion to images of them....I think even if people don't know the characters intimately their interplay is just so meaningful that they can really capture people

Hi there, who are these characters? Are they yours?

Mack is one of mine, Malachai is played by Polldalle's Lovesnare, who's a very good friend of mine and a real sweetie. <3 Her picture called "Cnady" (a joke title) has Mack in it. <3

Mack is an OC based on Mary Shellys Frankenstein, Malachai is just a normal kid, but mute, bullied and often alone. He's an artist also, or working on it. He started drawing Mack after seeing him often in a old movie theater called the Pantheon. He doesn't know yet that Mack is anything more than just a very large man with extensive scars. <3

I really like this. There is a lot of sentiment and emotion in the interaction between the two characters and the suggestion of a deeper story behind them.

<3 thanks! I really enjoy these two, though they're quite difficult to draw sometimes.
