I'm guessing that this is based on Deucalion's relationship with Arnie in Koontz's "Frankenstein". Also I couldn't help but notice the Karloff monster on his shirt. Love it!

<3 I think out of all the characters I draw Mack and Mal have some of the most powerful visual interaction. <3 Sorta like the Strength card out of the Tarot. ^_^ <3

Mack is one of mine, Malachai is played by Polldalle's Lovesnare, who's a very good friend of mine and a real sweetie. <3 Her picture called "Cnady" (a joke title) has Mack in it. <3
Mack is an OC based on Mary Shellys Frankenstein, Malachai is just a normal kid, but mute, bullied and often alone. He's an artist also, or working on it. He started drawing Mack after seeing him often in a old movie theater called the Pantheon. He doesn't know yet that Mack is anything more than just a very large man with extensive scars. <3

I really like this. There is a lot of sentiment and emotion in the interaction between the two characters and the suggestion of a deeper story behind them.

<3 thanks! I really enjoy these two, though they're quite difficult to draw sometimes.
