Flycatcher from the freakin' awesome comic FablesFly, the Frog Prince-turned-janitor, is argueably my favorite character. Yes, I think I've got some kind of amphibian problem.
But it's just...he's so cute! I mean, not in the traditional way, but hell--give me that lanky, mussed-up kinda look over Prince Charming any day. And Fly is a total sweet-heart ^_^...well, maybe not /total/ but he is a sweetheart.
Sorry about the boring two at the top left. I was trying to get a handle on the character. For the one on the right, I wanted to try and show his watch, but it didn't work. I love his watch--little indifferent-face-lookin' thing. And it's on his right hand, which means he's left handed (Or he's just weird like me). Heh.
I'm not sure why his hat's off in the middle, but he don't look happy. Maybe cuz he's got hat-hair. Next to that I wanted to try and figure out what he looked like back before the Adversary showed up. Dunno how much I like it. I like him better with hair in his eyes (makes you want to brush it away/play with it). I think I like the leaning back one best. ^_^

Currently reading the 8th comic book, "Wolves"; lovelovelovelove this series. Bigby is my favorite, but Fly is definitely a close second. I love how you drew him.

i just got the fable books and read them all. i couldnt put them down. i have the fabble volumes 1-27 and i love them. Fly is just adorable . i love the sleeping beuty part hehehehehehe. hope he finds his wife. Awww cuddles. Draw more fly catcher. hehehehe.

Ah! Oh my god that's SO cute. I'm a big ole' Fables fan so I get giddy if I can find good fanart of it. You draw Fly Catcher great. Hell, he's a great characer in general so it's way cool to see that he has fans.

Thanks. I enjoys my amphibian problem. You should definately pick up an issue or two of Fables if you like comics--it's very well writen, and Mark Buckingham is a teriffic artist, IMHO.

they are cool, u draw hands really well, thats not exactly my category... but i like the one where it looks like he's cracking his nuckles or whatever... thats coolio once again, i cant draw the same friekn person! its so annoying!!! thats why i cant draw all of em on the same page

Thanks. After several years of cursing at them, hands have become one of my favorite things to draw. Yeah, his hat's funky. It's hard to tell in these, but Mark Buckingham (the main artist for Fables) usually draws Fly wearing a "frog hat"--it's green and it's got big frog eyes. I just love that, so I drew it too...didn't look the some, tho.

Hmm, neat work. I think you're the reason I've been trying to fill more space on my character design sheets with stuff like random expressions and things.
As for the description being "too long," it's not. I like long descriptions, gives me more insight into what the artist is/was thinking. And, considering I've seen very, very short descriptions that give no real information about a peice, I'd much rather read the artist's ramblings. ...Which is sort of like how I comment: something relevant, something less relevant, ramble, ramble...
