Jemik blinked owlishly at Edwin and his revelation. So he does have a mate, as does Jemik herself, and both of them are okay and helping other wyngro out. The green wyngro hums. It didn't really matter.
"Well, yeah." Jemik responds with a shrug. It looks like the light amount of sap helped ease her nerves a little." It's safe, sane, and consensual, right? Neither of us are going behind our mate's back, so I'm still good to go." She pushes her glass to the side. Jemik wasn't even feeling tispy.
"Right," Edwin agrees, leaving his own glass to the side. Their eyes meet, and for a second Jemik gets nervous again." You good?" She was really going to do this.
She did want a family. More specifically, a family with Nina. Jemik steels herself, feeling sound with her decision. She'd do anything to have that life with Nina.
