You know this was made with MS paint right?it doesn't sucks. I like using MS paint sometimes.
It was the first program to draw in a computer anyway.

Photoshop is so mainstream~ It takes talent to pull off paint! (And several years of being mocked)

MSPaint FTW!!!
I'm learning how to use photoshop, but I still love MSPaint. Besides, I love how my friends are surprised by the potential (sp?) of this "useless" application

And believe me, those aren't fake. I can easily tell. Photoshop may have all the good stuff like gradients and layers, but MS Paint can do things that Photoshop can't do as easily.

Lol all those pictures tell me is those people are a) trying to be retro or b) can't afford photoshop.
And you could make those with ease in PS

SunnyChan89 In reply to xadacka [2009-12-30 04:15:13 +0000 UTC]
A.) Retro? What do you mean by that? Maybe they don't find fun in using Photoshop, and MS Paint is better.
B.) And... wow, that is so selfish. I can't believe you. I'm just not going to comment any more than that.
I have Photoshop. And it's harder to use than MS Paint. Maybe I'll occasionally use Photoshop to play with some gradients or some brushes, but even then, I use GIMP for that.
Anyhow, MS Paint is easier to use, but Photoshop is flashier. The fact that those pictures were made with MS Paint and not edited or made in Photoshop make them popular with the audience. People get tired of flashy shit with PS. I shit you not.

Yes, Retro, There only is one meaning for the word.
And selfish? How is that selfish? It's 100% true.
And it's only hard to use because you don't know how to use it. Photoshop is the standard for graphics manipulation and has been around since the 80's, Everything today is based off it. The gimp, While I admire how it's open source, Sort of sucks.
Paint is easier to use because there's like what, 3 different tools? Ohh.. Amazing. Not. And one of the ones you linked me to was rough sketched in paint then done properly in Photoshop.

For one thing, you do not ever mention being unable to afford something. People can't afford a computer, let alone Photoshop. I can't blame anyone. No one has $700 in their pockets for that. Not even me. I got illegally.
And I don't use it because... MS Paint is the easy path. Besides, MS Paint has its uses. It is much easier to work with pixels as well.
like I said, Photoshop gets boring and flashy when you can tell it had been used.
... but whatever. MS Paint is still a really good art program in its own way. I'm sticking with it.

No, MS paint is NOT a good program, Anyone in the history of the world knows that MS paint sucks. It's terrible. It doesn't have one single advantage over Photoshop. And photoshop is 10000x easier to work with pixels in, Enable grid map and zoom in and you get an amazing way to work with pixels.
Zoom in on ms paint there. Or have two layers. Or draw 2 different things and combine them. Or add text to an image, Then change what the text says. Oh wait, you can't do any of those things, because MS paint sucks.
And again, photoshop is the industry standard so what do you mean 'can tell it's been used', It's been used on practically everything you see.
Please stop being a total idiot and realise the harsh truth that is mspaint sucks.

Wow. You're persistant.
Alright, I'll admit MS Paint is a little under-powered than Photoshop. But MSP still doesn't suck. Because for one thing, there are quite a few stamps for it, and it's still being used for pictures on deviantART, and art in general.
Ahaha, now you're insulting me? That's quite low. I'm not saying that Photoshop is worse than MS Paint anymore. The real truth is that everything has its good and bad points, and nothing sucks in general. Photoshop doesn't suck, MS Paint doesn't suck. End of story.
By the way, I'm not an idiot. I'm not going to call you one, either, because there's no point in doing so.

Of course I'm persistent, I'm defending a professional program against that bs m$ make.
Oh right ok, dA stamps are the very proof you need to make your point. They're the one true thing that determine the quality of a product. I have a Windows Vista stamp on my page too, That doesn't mean Vista is any good. It just means I have a stamp for it.
MS Paint only has one good point; It's free. That's it.

MS Paint is still a nice program if you want simplicity for your pictures.
I'm done.
