Description
He woke with a start in the middle of the night. Breath short and shallow, cold sweat running down his back, and goose bumps covering his arms, Jinxx looked for a sign of life from the others. He could hear Ashley and Jake softly snoring, CC mumbling in his sleep, but he couldn’t hear Andy’s usual light breaths.

Stumbling through the dark, he made his way from the couch to the far side of the bed. He and Andy agreed to sleep apart so there was no suspicion with the others. When he found Andy’s body, he checked the singer’s pulse; it was beating steadily, as it should.

Jinxx sighed, then looked around for one of their phones. He managed to grab Ashley’s – he could tell from the picture of a naked woman as the lock screen – and checked the time.

3:13 AM.

Gross, it’s so early, he thought. He sat down on the floor at the foot of the bed, leaning his back against the footboard, and forced himself back to sleep.

Wait.

His eyes shot wide open. He stood up so quickly he almost fell over. He stumbled and searched for a light switch and – after finding one – flicked it on. His four brothers groaned.

“Jinxx, what the Hell…?” Ashley said groggily.

“Goddammit, can’t you piss in the dark?” Christian said, pulling the blanket over his head.

“A-Andy is-?”

“Jinxx, go back to bed,” Andy’s voice said weakly.

Jinxx sighed. “Okay, Andy-kins. I love you.”

The other four sat up instantly – Andy with a look of ‘What the Hell?!’ on his face, and the other three with a look of ‘What did you just say?!’ on theirs.

“Guys, there’s something I need to tell you.”

Jinxx explained to his now-wide-awake brothers his nightmare, then explained how he and Andy had been together for some time.

The boys stayed up, even though they knew they had a long day ahead of them.

The rest of the day was quite normal. They took a different route home to the hotel. No notes were missed during the party, and no gunmen were met afterwards.

When they got back to the hotel, Jinxx kissed Andy softly on the lips.

“I love you so much, Andy.”

“Thank you, Jinxx.”

“For what?”

“Telling me your dream.”

Jinxx smiled, and Andy kissed his forehead.

“I guess I’m really not bulletproof, huh?” Andy laughed. “I love you, too.”
