So for whatever reason today I decided I would try drawing a person. I have NEVER seriously tried drawing a person like this before, and what's more surprising is I drew her body completely from memory (and used only a very loose reference for her face). Clearly the anatomy is not perfect for this reason but it just felt so good to draw so freely like that...

Though it's not perfect, I am surprisingly happy with how her hands turned out, and I'm really happy with how her face and hair turned out too.

I'm not sure why, but lately I've been feeling like I need to prove myself as an artist more. I do LOVE making squishies, especially for others, but I feel like I want people to know I can do more than that. And that I actually deserve having so many watchers (which I am incredibly thankful for). So expect a lot more other digital art from me in the future c:

So this is Zura . Zura is a character of mine who is best friends with Hana (another character of mine, who I plan to make a human forme of as well). While Hana is really shy, Zura is a lot more mischievous and playful, but is very protective of Hana and is always very gentle around her (especially when she is helping her in the garden).

I plan to write more about them soon <3
