The sun is setting, The night is coming. Take in the sights, for you'll never see them under the moons glow... Expect the unexpected is expecting what you fear the most. It's a scary world that awaits you after dark, almost as if a war brews on the horizon...And we would walk through a war for some peace of mind
More Vent doodle-like arts (by that I mean they only took me a few hours as opposed to all day)
Well, I'm starting my Enrolment day at college on Wednesday, and truth be told, I'm still terrified. The things that have happened this holiday haven't left me in the most stable state, emotion wise... and I'm forever woken by nightmares that I just won't be able to cope, that I'll break down again.
I don't want to waffle too much about my problems (Because, let's face it, who wants that?) - But I feel a lot better by drawing this.
It's amazingly good fun drawing scenery and playing with lighting :3 I love it. I'm thinking of giving away some free backgrounds again, would anyone be interested?
BOOM goes my art block, as well!

I'm sooooo unconfident drawing backgrounds. Its terrible. And Drawing ones like that literally takes me months.

Aww doodledoo! You don't have to be! Seriously, with backgrounds like this I just choose a sandy colour for the hill base, and then burn and doge with the leaf tool to look like trees. Water took a while though. Silly water.

I like how the dragon splits the scene in half, the diagonal pose. The background turned out great as well, I love the clouds and how it balances with the lighter colors in the water. The land is also a nice balance factor because it is roughly perpendicualr with the dragon, which balances the otherwise overly contrasting angle of the draogn.
