(...I couldn't come up with any good title...)I thought I should upload some art...b/c they're just lying around here waiting to be uploaded
(It's scanned in twice b/c it was to big for the scanner, and put together in PH...so there might be a line in it somewhere...but I tried hard to make it not visible)
Made this landscape painting in Acrylics, in late spring...I think.
All the leaves are completely done with only a toothpick...I didn't have a brush that small, and it was really fun making it with another tool than just a brush
I used a reference picture of a famous painting...which was in one of the many art books I have in my book shelves...
Original painting ("The Hay Wain"- Oil, 185.0 cm X 130.0 cm )
was made by the English painter John Constable. [link]
My version is not bigger than a A3. And without some details like the cart and dog.
Time: around 20-30 hours, all in all.
This is my very first real landscape painting I've ever done, with so much detail...I'm not so much for backgrounds...but this one was fun.
And off course...it looks a lot better in rel life.

i like the way you've captured the clouds the most, but aswell the overall capture of his poetic style is done really well!
