I've been experimenting with printmaking this semester, and this is one of the first humble successes. This one is not a fully rendered image, which is why half is 'blank', as I was using it to experiment and not waste my time. I am satisfied with the little 2.5" piece, though!Copper salt bath etched, ink

as much as I love digital, I am having a blast with this process. It is a shame it took me so long to get into it!

craigslist forever to get the machines you need? getting a small printing press apparently isn't that hard these days, too.

Ah I didn't know that--I'd heard tales of them being nigh impossible to find-the unicorn of art supplies. I'll keep my eye out.
