Description After a long time I've once again drawn a floating island. This one took me about 2 hours and 21 minutes of actual draw time. A lot of time was of course wasted with distractions and other things.

More island drawings can be found here: [link] [link]

If you want to see me draw this little succer, just check out the video on youtube >> [link] <<

this is why I am glad floating islands do not exist. I would be very sad if a member of my family (who i didn't want to die) was on that island. If the government couldn't handle Hurricane Katrina what would they do about this.

actually I think the government would do just fine. All they would have to do is say "what island?"

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

wulfnstein In reply to J0EGrand [2011-01-01 22:12:30 +0000 UTC]

I don't think they'll have to be afraid of a flood, winds of 1000 miles an hour would be troublesome of course. But hey, that is why the government is promoting the "safety-line" now.

**ADVERTISE**
A boring fence on your island? Family members constantly slipping of your island? Forget about that!
Buy the "safety-line" now, get a discount on the baby-line and pay a little bit less with your taxes.

Your family has never been so connected to you, your home and the state's safety policy.

im trying to learn photoshop, but so far i can only do photo manipulation and a bit of drawing but i'm having trouble with detail and color. every time i try a tutorial, i end up with something that looks like i dont know wat, maybe its because i dont have a tablet. Could u possibly give me any tips?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

wulfnstein In reply to pitadog [2010-12-30 20:14:18 +0000 UTC]

Well, get a tablet would be my first big tip. I haven't drawn a single thing with a mouse once I got my tablet. It speeds up the proces and just helps so much with drawing stuff digitaly. Frankly I can't imagine drawing something with a mouse today

wulfnstein In reply to pitadog [2010-12-30 20:26:33 +0000 UTC]

Sometimes it pays to just buy a new one, I once got a cheap one for 30€, which was a good price back then, and after 6 years its still serving me pretty well. Though I did get a bigger one with buttons for the drawings.
