Beautiful work Joan, the colors and the atmosphere are very good, I also love the
composition with this yellow cab in the corner street and go through the horizon.
It give a good depth with it and the perspective...

Nice!some of the blue to greys are very color neutral and all go great together, and makes the cab stand out well. Yes, I also can relate to the headache and nightmare stages of painting, but you are absolutely right to finish your projects. In the old days I was notorious for throwing anything I didn't like away, then I had an art instructor say, never throw away a project, finish it and if you still don't like it learn what not to do next time, nice work on both of new posts! I might be done with the one I'm working on pretty soon...

Thanks for your comments. Sometimes it is hard to finish a project ,but you are right ,you learn from it. I am doing a large painting now and just the drawing is so complicated because of the many buildings. I am looking forward to seeing your new painting!
