Description the lady taken from [link] simply asked for it. she is perfect with that ruffled dress, proud posture and her absent look. one of her hands is borrowed from a Bartolomeo Veneto painting, the other from some pre-war german poster. the lioness is mine. the purple moon stands for the so called dionisian skills associated with femininity. but who cares, eh?

at first i thought this was a photomanipulation (=digital collage), but i see you've put this in traditional art collages, so what i was going to say is maybe not appropriate...

first of all, i love it, i think you've not a great job... the idea is great, and the realisation just wow!
now for some hopefully constructive critique: *if* you wanted all the elements to blend better together, and *if* this is a collage you've done digitally (like on photoshop), you might consider working a bit on the lady's cheeks to smoothen the "cruddy" texture you'll find there (scan artifact)... and also one thing you might want to do is achieve the same level of sharpness for all the elements (here the lady is less sharp than the rest, which makes her look a bit blurry -- this is disturbing since she's supposed to be the central element) these are little details, only visible when looked at closely in full view, but well, maybe you'll find this helpful...

looking forward to seeing more of your works!

thank you so much for your constructive critisism of course i find it helpful.
as you've noticed i'm no computer genius. to tell the truth digital graphic is of no intrest to me and i have no intention (because of my taste. and lack of competence i suppose) of making it. Scissors, paper and glue - those are my primary tools. I only use the computer because it supplies me with more graphic material and saves my time - which is crucial if you got ideas galloping through your head like a stampede of some sort. The point is my pictures are still supposed to be collages, not computer graphics. That is why i don't alter the elements much. They are supposed to look as if i just cut them out and glued them to a sheet of paper. Which is exactly what i'll do as soon as i have a goddamned scanner
but even considering my motives you are still aboslutely right about smoothing the queen's face. Still i'm always hoping for a "disturbing" effect so sharpenig her is out of the question
