Marines with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron-262 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, brace against the rotor wash of a CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter as it lifts off from the flight deck here, Feb. 5. The squadron maintains a high state of proficiency and readiness through a variety of training requirements, including take-offs and landings on a moving ship during day and night operations. The 31st MEU is currently deployed on its annual Spring Patrol of the Asia-Pacific region, strengthening theater security cooperation and multi-national interoperability through training exercises.
