Adorable playing baby Barbary lions (Panthera leo leo, Lev berbersky) from ZOO Olomouc, Czech republic
those cute kittens were so young, that they almost could not walk! That dark thing on the left is a leg of their mommy, I think Thank you for your comments and faves!

Name: Barbary Lion (Panthera leo leo)
Location: FORMERLY North Africa from Morocco to Egypt, now only ZOOs
Size: 280 cm long body + 90 cm tail (male) weight: 295 kg (male)
Diet: carnivora
Conservation status: Exctinct in the wild
Interesting facts: Barbery lion is exctinc species, or at least exctinct in the wild | the only Barbary lions live in ZOOs β they are descendats of the Barbaby lions from Marocan menagerie. Unfortunately, they are all crossed with other lion subspecies, so there are no pure blooded Barbary lions.
