VW Kubelwagen (germ. "bucket car") was a light all-terrain vehicle designed in late 1930s and produced since 1940 till the end of the war. It used many parts of Volkswagen Type 1 (Beetle) and became one of the most popular vehicles of the war, with over 50.000 Kubelwagens leaving factories. They are very popular among military enthusiasts and film makers, because there are plenty of them still in running condition.

I don't know if this vehicle is a part of normal exhibition in Museum of Armoured Warfare. It was standing outside and at one point it took some passengers, then drove away and did not return before we left the museum.
