You requested a critique from the club:

I like the structure of this piece: how detailed it is, almost like lace.
I am wondering what it would look like in color, but B&W is certainly a good choice here.
However, I am not quite comfortable with the composition here. It is not at its balance, I think that you can see it too. I would move that white hole to the bottom right because of that black line that surrounds it and creates an opening on the left. Maybe not the only possibility for that shot. You may need to do a lot of pictures to arrive to the perfect one!
Overall, very nice job!

Interesting shot and a new take on plant photography. I like how the branches look like they're clawing across the photo, and the gritty texture of the twigs/leaves. The curving branch near the bottom is a nice compositional touch.

I think the contrast is a bit lacking, however. There's so much black and just enough midtones to make the image look slightly gray and not quite polished. Either a sharper contrast (just black and white) or maybe a splash of color somewhere might be good.
