I forgot to mention the separation between the water and the vegetation... it's too harsh too, make it "blend", either show the roots of the bushes, or something else....^^

So you want a critique ? Ok (and please don't take it bad ! for it is not meant to bash you or something...)
I'll try to put it off simply...what I like:
*The fur and hair texture (how did you do those, by the way ? xD)
*The water glittering
What I don't like :
*The overall flatness...

The characters don't “blend” enough in the background, the edges are too sharp, too “abrupt”...don't get me wrong, they must be but there is a manner in doing so, like some hair or fur tuft flowing (like...a bit messy, I don't know how to say it ), and not too hard edges, like they are just slapped on the background like this.
Even inside the characters, for instance, the feline troll form, the colors needs to go smoothly from one to the other, also, try to bring out some relief where there are the tusks (in the cheeks), because they really look flat here, and as I've said, “slapped” onto the druid, as if they where not a part of him.

As for the night elf, for me it looks flat too, a bit too blurry “inside” (I hope you get what I mean), plus her dress maybe should have more folds.
The background doesn't help the piece too, being flat...actually I've never seen a so much flat background, lol XD Even with the different sizes of the trunks of the trees, it still looks flat...You should really add some perspective, even if handmade, even if badly made. And don't use just one type of brush. For example, if you are lazy (like me ) maybe you can use, different types and different sizes of brushes, and if you are less lazy, then make some handmade landscape, added to the brushes if you want.

But maybe the most important issue is the light here. As everything reflects on the character. In your drawing, it's night, there is water, and trees. Try to make some reflections of the water on the fur for example, on her dress too, try blue shadows, and yellow / white (where there is light), add more contrast, to give it a more dramatic look and feel. This piece has potential, so exploit it.
Also, try to make more dynamic poses (well it is everything every artist should do),and not always the same poses (profiles, etc...), try something you are not used to draw.

I must admit at first glance even I was struck. It's such an intimate touch that it really instantly sinks into the memory. It is really delicately done and amazing I must say.

Broken hand.. I know how you feel. (Sucks worse when you spend 7-8 hours on something for a competition for your cat to lay on it and barf fur balls in the middle
The whole thing is really well done and I like all the shading done and the consistency with the light sources. The reflections in the water are good too but the ripples around the night elf seem a little off the closer they are to her body. Also the druids orange hair seems really stiff and sticks up at odd angles, like it has been gelled. Not sure how to help correct that though ><
