As the ancient Seasonal Courts return, there are whispers of Arcadia's gates creaking open, of others awakening. Of half forgotten kiths returning, of lean, hungry shapes running swiftly through the woods, and of howling songs filling the night air.
Hazel only remembers half of who she used to be. She remembers her childhood in Scotland, her werewolf father who was never home. ('off saving the world' as her Mother would say) She thinks she remembers being Sidhe, then the gunshot, the cold, dark silence, broken only by her father's voice. Then a world of sharpened senses, razor-sharp teeth & claws and memories of a life too ancient to be hers, that drew her to the tangled woodland of Sherwood Forest.
