Ah, well this didn't turn out too well- I lost inspiration halfway through. As you can see, I've been having fun changing face shapes and such.

This is based on the character of Mona Mayfair from the book 'Blood Canticle' by Anne Rice. Mona was dying when she asked for the Dark Blood- to be turned into a vampire.

'And the sight of Mona sitting on the foot of the big glowering four-poster was heartbreaking. The girl was in more pain than Quinn could conceivably realize. Even his arm around her was hurting her... But her flawless green eyes were wide when she looked at me...

To the very roots of her long red hair the Blood had penetrated, and it was full and shining, and her face was oval with plumped and smiling cheeks and lips, and her eyes clear of all fever, those fathomless green eyes.'

Basically, this manipulation isn't a scene from the book. It's more of the concept of how much she was transformed- her 'healthy', vampiric self holding a portrait of her sick self.
