So yeah this happened on August 2 apparently why have I become so rubbish at posting things I'm sorry deviantart, I'm so good to tumblr, but I've become horrible to you.SO HERE'S A CRAPPY NONSENSE COMIC WHILE I FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET ALL THAT STUFF ON TUMBLR OVER HERE K.

Just because it says "sell by" doesn't mean that it expires by Aug. 2....it's just a safeguard so that the stores don't get lawsuits shoved down their throats.

Yesterday evening I got a half gallon carton of milk, and after I bought it I saw that the date was the next day (which would be today). So, not wanting to waste it, I literally chugged the whole thing. Haha I don't think I can drink milk for a while now...

Haha, this happened to my cousin a few days ago. She had just eaten a jalapeno on accident, so she tried to flush it down with milk, but the milk, it turns out, was three days past it's expiration date and she freaked out the whole day that she would get sick. Good times...
But this is so hilarious I couldn't help but comment. ... Wow, I was about to make a really witty and clever comment about, like, THE ONGOING STRUGGLE OF MILK THAT EXPIRED THAT MORNING or whatever... lol no idea. Fail. :C

"Sell By" basically means sell this product by said date, that however doesn't mean the product is bad. But yeah, they really should just put the expiration date instead, it keeps things less complicated.

Smell the milk, if it smells horrible, DON'T DRINK IT. But if it smells like regular 'ol milk then you can drink it at your own risk.
