I don't write a lot of critiques. I apologize if this doesn't make any sense and for any inconsistency between the rating itself and the written part of the critique.

For the subject(aka the girl, Angelique):
There is good contrasting on the face and the neck. Though there are hair pieces over her face that should be shadowed. As the viewers eyes go down the picture, her hair and clothes become one big black blob. (Which reminds me of Bayonetta, a video game character that's a witch. Her clothes are made up out of her beehive/ponytail styled hair.) Another thing is as the viewer's eyes go down the picture her chest sticks out the shadowing of it makes it look less like the cartoonish style and more like someone used CGI which gives it a video game graphic kind of look.
Her eyes however are well drawn she does look broken in more than just the cracks in her face. The hair is well drawn too, along with the creases in the clothing.


For the background:
I feel that just a bit of color or anything would make this picture a bit better. The white background dulls it a bit. Though the shadow behind her helps it not become definitely dull. Along with the details on the character itself.

For the font:
Honestly if I didn't watch the movie I would have no clue what the words are suppose to be. (If I can't have Barnabas no one can) The viewer can clearly see: If I can' then it turns becomes part of the hair, Barnabas more becoming one with the hair and then can. The colors for the font should be changed to a color that people can clearly see against the character's hair and dress.

Vision: 4.5/5 it was a good idea, mostly minus the background
and the font.
Originality: 4.5/5 The pose is something I've seen plenty of times before and this picture doesn't give a new look to this pose. Though, at least it's not traced!
Technique: 4/5 It's clear and not all messy. So the viewer can clearly see what's going on in the picture in terms of just looking at the surface. I'm not very sure of this rating though.
Impact: 4/5 The impact could be larger if the font could be read clearly. (And maybe some cracks on her neck and skin below it?)

I like her better with black hair, brings out the cracks and makes her beauty seem more demented.

yea I agree with the look. I feel they should have turned her hair back to black since her magic was weaking but thats me. And yes shes a psycho witch, not how i would have discribed her but its not off.
