If it makes you feel better, the year the wii came out I knew that it was going to be killer to try to find one so I told me folks not to bother trying to get one for me for xmas.
My dad was offered the last one at walmart some afternoon and he wasn't even in line for one.
He didn't even know I wanted one. >.<...
I ended up buying one about 7 months or so later though. They had just got some in and the lady at the store was bringing them out right as I was walking by.
