Fft, at least he doesn't have to stand on a chair and religiously screw a lightbulb into the ceiling, wearing his arms out and twisting his fingers in the process. not bitter
Good to see more digital from you. The shading is still too light for my tastes, but that lineart is just scrumptious. Almost like I could rub my fingers all over it and get an inky softness in return.

I have some horrible aversion to contrast in my art unless I'm doing a life study. :C WHY IS THIS.
Digital is fun, but so uncomfortable! I've yet to find a position in which I can draw for more than an hour without my butt or shoulders complaining the next day.

That's kind of me and watercolor. I'm so enamored with the fact I can blend I forget to add contrast to make my subject appear more than a fancy gradient. 
I love how versatile digital is, but for some reason, I can't finish anything. Maybe it's because I use nothing but trial versions. one month is not enough sob

I hacked a really old version of photoshop. My school wants me to buy some Adobe Suite crap for almost $500, but I'm going to see if I can slip under the radar and go along without it. BAHHH.
And lol, same, I can never get the proper contrast with watercolors unless I add colored pencils in over it. I wonder if that's just because my watercolors are terribly low quality?

You know, I feel incredibly stupid for not thinking of mixing watercolor with colored pencil. It could be because I tried that with gouache and the pencils, for some reason, just made weird pasty grooves in the paint. that's my excuse, PTSD with paint
