Description A project for my 2-D design class. Line and Pattern. Our teacher wouldn't allow anything but geometric shapes and it couldn't look like anything "real." It was really hard doing geometric type art because I wasn't used to it, but it was a learning experience.

The inspiration was cancer and how cells keep multiplying and invading muscle tissues.

I really like the detailed and varied line work, and I admire how much movement the piece has as a whole. As an someone who's just beginning to experiment with abstract 2D art, I find it challenging to make a cohesive work made of simple geometric lines and shapes, but you executed it beautifully, and with an interesting concept. Very nice!

I found it hard to use geometric shapes and, frankly, I did not like it at first and was upset with my teacher for making me use only geometric, but now I'm glad I learned how.
I'm glad you like it, thanks~

I like the sense of depth. Have you heard of Aubrey beardsley?
your styles are very similar, and Beardsley did a lot of this kinda stuff.

I had never heard of them before, but their artwork is marvelous from what I just looked up! I'm honored for the comparison. I still have a lot of work ahead of me before I'll consider myself great as that, but I'll work hard to get there one day!
Thank you very much!
