Apologies for this one being so late. I mean, only a couple hours, but still. Got caught up a few things today and didn't have the chance to finish this.
Guess who saw Venom last night? But seriously, it was a great movie. Definitely not what I expected, but not in a bad way. A lot more humor than I thought there would be and I think that was the best part about it.
I knew for sure that today's drawing would be related to that, but as I said before I didn't have time to do something nice and detailed, so you guys just get something simple for today. I might do another one later on though since I certainly want to do more with these two. I don't think this is really spoiler-y so I'm not gonna put a filter on. Yes, similar lines are said in the movie, but it doesn't reveal anything about the plot. Just a funny scene. But seriously, go watch it!!!! It was hilarious and action-packed and just all around a fun movie. Not sure what I'm gonna do for tomorrow, but I've got a couple ideas. Hoping to also get some more digital art this weekend for you guys as well.

Okay... So on a scale of 1 to 10, how horror movie like is Venom? Rate 1 for not so much. Rate 5 for gore fest. and Rate 10 if is the unholy spawn of purgatory, do not see if you don't like horror movies.
oddly enough, in some cannons of the comic books, Eddie Brock and the Symbiote have a pretty decent relationship, like i think they even have kids which is strange...

A 1, for sure. Maybe 2 since there is like....maybe two or three small jump-scares? I can only remember two off the top of my head. But even then they're really not that bad. And that's coming from someone who literally cannot and refuses to watch horror movies. There is more gore than your average Marvel movie, but nothing extreme. Not enough that I'd qualify it as a horror movie or anything like that. It actually had a lot of funny moments in it, which I was not expecting. XD
...They have kids? That's a bit much, but I won't judge. I have a feeling Marvel's come up with worse. XD

All the trailers made it look like is was just going to be a halloween horror movie, so i was a little weary about it. I knew it was going to be gorey because of just who Venom is, but if it was on the level of the Conjuring or some other equivalent i just go "NOPE! NOT TODAY!" so at least i won't be expecting that kind of horror for this movie then... i can handle a few jumpscares...
They evidently become a full on married couple in some of the stories and oddly enough i think they actually become one of the most perfect example of a healthy relationship... it doesn't start out that way, but they do end up being adorable...weird, but adorable nonetheless.

Yeah, I thought so too. Then I heard everyone talking about how amazing and how funny it was and I figured it couldn't be that bad, and it wasn't.
