Katara: Stay where you are!
(Rubble starts to fall as the building collapses around them)
Asami: You have to get out of here, Katara! The whole place is gonna go!
Katara : Believe me, you're the only one who cares.
(More rubble starts to fall, threatening to trap them both)
Sokka: Asami, get out of there now!
(Katara waterbends together a wall of ice between herself and Asami)
Asami: KATARA, NO!
(Katara says nothing as the building collapses, forcing Asami to escape the destruction)

Different characters, same effect. They both tell the suffering of losing someone close to you. Great Work!!!!

I always looked at mr. freeze as one of the most tragic characters from the batman Series.
Freeze lost the one person he loved and his own life.
Mr. Freeze is of course a revenge villain, yet could anyone blame him for the gravity of his lose.
Having Katara as freeze is interesting, perhaps the best way to tell her tragedy would be their was an accident while preserving Aang and Katara's chee could not stop generating the intence cold.
