A year ago I submitted my first Hobbit fan art (Wrong Tune); so this one here is a special anniversary picture.
I have seen a lot of Hobbit fan art in the last year and there were several pictures where I had to imagine the face of the portrayed if he'd ever be able to see it - which led me to this picture, showing the most frequented victims.
And, since this is an anniversary, you also get a little making of of this picture (like a bonus feature):

This is wonderful. All of the expressions are just making me giggle uncontrollably (especially Bofur and Dwalin, oh dear

This is perfect! Bilbo's face is exactly what mine looks like when I see a lot of the fan art out there! And sometimes I look like Dwalin, too.

Thranduil has four basic expressions:
1. haughty (all the time)
2. sneering (at a dwarf or a wizard)
3. disgusted (in various degrees)
4. shocked (cause insulted by a dwarf)
