I really like the lighting you have going on here. It's very beautiful and makes the scene serene.
What I would improve here would be to straighten the horizon. One of my favorite editing programs is Picasa by Google (free!), as it has a feature which let's you easily straighten an image. Also, the edges of your image hint at the sunset. I want to see that sunset! Don't be afraid to zoom out and capture the sunset, and then crop. I do that all the time, and it liberates your photography.
