Inspired by a model from figure drawing class who wore a blue feathery mask one day.
This drawing has been accepted into "5," a juried exhibition at the Mobile Arts Council (Mobile, Alabama), and will be on display from Wednesday, April 7 until Friday, April 30, 2010.

This is really lovely, but if you want to get really knit picky about it, the hair is quite coarse and falls a little unnaturally, I'd try blending it at the scalp a little more and letting the strands show more finely at the ends. Wonderful piece though.

There are a lot of tutorials on deviantart too, I used them myself; just keep the lines fine, and thin them out at the ends

I used Prismacolor Color Pencils, the regular sized lead.
