Phew, finally my gift art for for helping me out with a problem.What I've got to say. Done with my new tablet. Oh well, you can see I have to train much more.
It's her OC Fury, a wolf of her famous Moonsong pack.
And yes, his left hindleg is missing, he lost it in a battle with a bear.

Some layers of the original color and lighter and darker versions of it.
Some shadow and light versions as effects.
Than some dodging and burning. In addition some work with the smudge tool.
That's it.

I love it! 
The background works very well with the entire image, too. The trees and mountains are enough to "ground" the piece without being distracting. And I just love the incorporation of the wolf in the clouds!
