natural comes to mind if looking to your work. Almost as if they're just altered photos. I think the main reason is how you handle light and shadow but not sure about it.

This is one of my favorites if not my favorite of yours. Because it's so hidden. I mean, she has a lot covering her, while being wide open emotionally but is trying desperately to hide it. Or she's really strong and she does very well hiding it, and this shot caught her at a bad moment. Good catch!
