I agree with this. In Total Drama Island they were ok. I actually thought they were pretty cute together.
But.... by Action and World Tour, I honestly lost respect for this couple. A kick to the groin and cheating on your girlfriend is not a good couple. I will also admit, even though it was wrong for Duncan to cheat on Courtney, I could honestly see why he lost interest for her and went for Gwen. She didn't accept him for who he was and she wasn't a very good girlfriend just as much as Duncan wasn't a good boyfriend. As I said before, I'm also not a big Duncan and Gwen fan because I thought they were too predictable (the whole goth and punk thing), but I will give them credit since they at least get along accept for who they are.

I do respect those who like DunGwen/dislike Duncaney because I kinda like DunGwen and Duncan and Courtney just couldn't see in each other's eyes again.

Um no offense Alison, but here's one thing I might as well also point out: With hating/disliking something, you have to have at least a fully grown open-minded statement about it because one, to avoid butthurt tards and two, so no fights happen and no drama does either.
For example, instead of saying "I HATE DUNCANEY BECAUSE COURTNEY IS A B!TCH AND SHE HURT DUNCAN!" try saying like this, "The reasons why I don't Duncaney is because Courtney kept hurting him real bad like kicking him in the balls, prefer winning over him, and even betray him for the money. I also don't like how their behavior is. It was cute at first, but after seeing them fight and Courtney turning manipulative, I started to lose my respect for them, so now I don't like them anymore. But I don't mind if you like them, please respect me for disliking them and I'll do the same for you.
Do you think you can do that? For not only me, but for the other Duncaney shippers and for the fanbase itself? All I am doing is helping you be a good fellow TD fan and not have you hurt. Please try to understand that I don't want not only you, but other fans of the show hurt. They are sane Duncaney fans and even haters out there and they would have to agree with me on this.

That is exactly what I'm saying. You don't need to always put down and scream that you hate the couple, you need to think twice and just say "Oh yeah, they are fans here. I need to say something that can make them agree or even disagree with me at least." Also, because again, hate can lead to anger and both are not good things whatsoever.
Also, yes I do understand Courtney's behavior. You can tell that Duncan wanted to leave her because of that, but in that way. He just wanted to show her that he was tired of her bossiness. In addition, I blame the writers for that, not the characters. Sometimes it's hard to believe and what not to believe, but all in all the real theme of this topic is to always make sure what you really want to say. Think twice and think before you speak.
