Hey dude, love your cloud style, I like painting clouds too. Mind If I use this as a template for a speed paint reference I am going to do in a small acrylic painting? I will link this as my reference obviously. Thanks and kudos either way.

Hi Andrew, no problem at all for the dude/lady thing! XD
You can go ahead and use this pic as ref, but to be honest I've used a ref pic myself (I've found it on google, I think - of you want I can send you over the original photo?)

I know clouds seems very challenging, and they are, I guess, but they aren't as difficult as they seem! <: Trust me, those were my first clouds ever! XD
Basically, I'm still referencing them, mainly because I'm still studying how clouds "work" (as I said, I'm new to them! C; ) - then I chose a colour for the background, and then I paint the clouds on a new layer with a hard brush. On another layer I paint mountains, trees, etc, then I go back to the layers with the clouds and I start making them soft and fluffy... And that's it, really! <:
You should try, it's quite relaxing actually! c:

But don't worry, I didn't make all these clouds in a day or two... They were my warm-ups in the last two weeks, if I'm not mistaken! <:
And thanks, I'm happy you think I'm improving, because I fail at beig objective and I'm always afraid I'm going nowhere! XD

OOOooh, but still! I procrastinate often so even some art in 2 weeks is good XD
