Description
There are those who swear to fall to ther knees by the power of God
They swagger ecstatically as they speak in tongues
Filling up a suitcase full of prayers
To take on their trip to a place called happiness

I dreamed I was the hero, the philosopher, the poet
My heart has been guided by eternal longings
But I know I am to awaken from this dream
And that I must take to the fields like everyone else

If I believed a brick wall did not exist when it did could I walk through it?
Nay, I would be sorrier still upon my unexpected impact
If I believe in God and there is no God will he save me?
For the one brick wall we can't avoid is death

As she stood upon the alter she stared into his eyes...
She saw a beautiful ocean lit by an eternal sunset
She did not see the bags under her husbands eyes
Nor the black of his suit

But those who are older know better upon witnessing this sweet young couple
One day her husbands eyes will shut for the last time
Just as the sun sets on her beautiful ocean
... they will once again be in darkness.

When they judge me for not believing in the way that they do
I will not feel bitter and resent them for the things they can not see
They are only looking for a place called happiness
Just like me.
