Out of curiosity... (you probably get this question a lot) What kind of camera and lens do you use? I'm starting to take photography seriously and I have to go to Colombia to photograph a wedding.

Hi, I think you're the first who has asked.
I'm one of those no frills photographers. I use what I can afford - nothing extravagant.
I have a theory anyway that it's not the camera you own but it's all about how you use your lighting.
For this photograph I used my Olympus E-300 with the standard/provided Zuiko (14 - 45 mm F3.5 - F5.6) lens.
Besides the Olympus I use a cheap Canon Powershot, a Holga (toy camera) and a range of crappy old cameras I've picked up from second hands stores.

I have an Olympus C-750, it's pretty much a joke. I need to get something a better because I don't think this will cut it.

Just use whatever you're comfortable with. I think that if I ever decide to upgrade I'm going to stay loyal to Olympus.

I was just accepted into a full-time Tafe course which is only going to give me enough time to pick up some sort of weekend job, consequently I have a poor persons' year ahead of me.
