I was going to fix this up.... I'll do it next year. HA.Fasson gets two pictures this year, lucky bum. Character assignment for digital painting class. Took the opportunity to spoil one of my head-people.
Color is... I'm not sure, because it was just fine on the school computer monitor, which is where I worked on it most, but quite dark on my laptop. It's fair dark anyway so I adjusted the color a bit, but goodness knows how it looks on other monitors. Blah blah blah.

EDIT: Although now it's weird and pixel-y... less so if you download to view. The pinks are also a touch warmer there. I dunno, you guys.

My teacher's background is oil painting, and he encouraged us to approach it that way. I of course have little to no experience with traditional painting... but you can probably try thinking about it in terms of colored pencils, since I know you have experience with those. The Cintiqs in the school lab certainly made things a little smoother though ^_^'
